The MTV Central European Headquarters, in its form as an office and media building, is located in the Osthafen, which is an historically protected area. The harbour character played a large role in the design of the structural complex in its material and form, as well as in the outdoor layout. This means that the stone format and the colouring of the new brick facade was matched to the existing buildings, while steel and metal components were kept unrefined, thus suggesting a clear industrial character.

The property has an area of around 8,200 m² and is accessible from both Stralauer Allee and Hafenstraße.

The new building is in the immediate vicinity of the current MTV German Headquarters. The building, with its square floor plan, has an edge length of around 40 metres and is approx. 19 metres high. On a gross floor space of approx. 8,000 m² offices were created for up to 300 employees, including the necessary archive, storage and technical areas, as well as in-house daycare facilities for the tenant, MTV.
