Jachimowicz Group Berlin

JGB was founded in 1989 by Sidney Jachimowicz after he had finished his business degree, and he was joined by his brother Yves Jachimowicz in 1991 following his law degree. Since then, they have led the company together. JGB places its emphasis on estimating and adjusting quickly to market fluctuations, with the objective of generating optimum returns. JGB, which is based in Berlin, maintains portfolios in Berlin, Hamburg and other German cities.

JGB has been a reliable and innovative portfolio holder, project developer and real estate manager in the market for over 20 years. In the 1990s, JGB concentrated on and specialized in the restitution of the claims of foreign property owners. In that decade, more than 100 buildings were restituted, modernized and repaired.

From 2000 JGB completed a number of commercial construction projects in the area of office/retail. This includes our involvement in the development of the Mediaspree location, one of the largest investment projects in Berlin. Here, over the course of a number of years, media and communications companies settled along the banks of the River Spree. In 2006 we developed the MTV European headquarters here.

We are currently developing a property in Neue Schönhäuser Strasse, comprising retail/office and residential spaces. Furthermore we are currently developing exclusive owner-occupied apartments in the Berlin Mitte district, which shall be put on the market as early as the 1st quarter 2012.
